The Band Members:

Jodie Richardson ( Vocalist and Guitarist ) - Jodie ( Now 17 ) has been passionate about music since a very young age. She started playing guitar a few years ago and is now loving working in The Rumours creating a unique sound. Jodie mainly listens to and takes influence from Indie/New wave music and Post Punk. Some of her favourite bands include: The Cure, The Smiths, David Bowie, Two Door Cinema Club and The Wombats.

Amy Jeffery ( Guitarist ) - Amy ( Now 19 ) has loved music all her life. She picked up a guitar just before her 16th birthday and hasn't put it down since. Amy likes a lot of different genres including Punk rock, Rock and Indie. Her favourite band is Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. However, she also enjoys music from Mumford and sons, The Cure, The XX, Kids In Glass Houses etc.

About the Band:

The Rumours are an Indie-Acoustic band from Norwich. They were first formed in late September 2012.Their mellow sound makes the atmosphere relaxed and chilled out.Since then the band have achieved a lot They have been gigging locally around Norwich since December in venues such as : The Waterfront Studio, Karma Kafe, The Bicycle Shop, Olives Café and The B2 Venue. They have also recently played at the Waterbeach Beer Festival ( Cambridgeshire ). The Rumours have also been on Future Radio, Norwich's local radio station. (107.8FM) More recently the band have participated in a workshop with Will Young where they played one of their original songs to him. They have also playedthe Latitude festival 2013 which they were very excited about. The Rumours are also currently recording for their debut EP which shall be due for release in early september!
